As the Bullwheel Turns

July 25, 2013 12:55pm news summer bikes

Hey There Burkies! The weather seems to have taken a turn for the better. With blue skies and crisp air, it seems that everyone is ready for a summertime adventure. Why not begin yours here?

Come up and explore the Norco Demo Center, open Friday through Sunday for all your mountain biking needs. Check out the bikes that are available for rent (both downhill and cross country!) Take a lesson and learn anything you want, from the beginnings (how to shift, corner & enjoy) to something a little more advanced, (downhill, jumps & wall rides). Your ultimate bike adventure is in reach and we’ll help you get there.

If you have a need for speed, come on up every Friday night starting on August 2nd for our fRIDEay Night Race Series. Do you have what it takes? Join us for prime NEK style racing, prizes, weekly movie screenings, and “man can” beer specials every week. And remember, even if you are not a biker, there are FREE scenic chairlift rides on the Sherburne Chair every Friday in August!

If your picture perfect summer adventure is light on the “adventure” and heavy on the “summer”, come up to some of our events. Join us on August 3rd for our 5th Annual Bike n’ Brew. Take a scenic chairlift ride, partake in biking games and clinics, and cheer on the competitors of the Chainless Bike Race. Watch the Mountain Boards demo, relax with a movie on the lawn and enjoy some nice cold brews (from well-loved names like Trout River, Kingdom Brewing, Rock Art, just to name a few). Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children, teens and designated drivers. Keep an eye on our events calendar for a full schedule of events for Bike n’ Brew as it approaches.

Cheers!
