Oberon the Owl
Oberon is a barred owl that resides in a mew (cage for a bird of prey) at NorthWoods Stewardship Center in East Charleston, Vermont. Oberon was hit by a car on Interstate 89, and was rehabilitated at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science. Now, unable to survive in the wild on his own, he serves as an ambassador for birds of prey. During this family presentation, learn about the unique adaptations of owls that make their home in Vermont, and meet Oberon. Engaging for the whole family and starts at 7:00pm in the Darling Room located on the 2nd floor (east wing) in the Burke Mountain Hotel & Conference Center.
