THE MOUNTAIN
Renowned for its breathtaking views and ski racing heritage, Burke Mountain is the best kept secret in the Northeast. Home of the Burke Mountain Academy, the preeminent ski academy in the country with 45 Olympians to its credit, Burke Mountain features sweeping, winding trails, an average of 217 inches of snowfall each year, 45 trails and glades on 250 acres of terrain, and a vertical drop of 2,011 feet. A unique blend of friendly, genuine staff and traditional terrain define the character of one of the last remaining Vermont ski classics. With major upgrades to its snowmaking system in recent years, Burke Mountain features 80% coverage on a variety of trails accommodating skiers of every level with 25% novice, 45% intermediate, and 30% expert trails. Burke also has four terrain parks to keep the freestylists in your family busy all day long.

Burke Mountain, in the heart of Vermont’s spectacular Northeast Kingdom, is conveniently located just 7 miles from Exit 24 off Interstate 91, in the village of East Burke, a genuine Vermont village with a general store, great places to eat and plenty of welcoming smiles!

GROOMING
Burke Mountain’s staff uses state of the art grooming equipment to offer an outstanding product daily. In addition to a Bombardier VR 400 Plus MP machine, and an MP 300 European model, a new Prinoth 350R Bison has been added to the fleet to ensure meticulously groomed corduroy all season long.

Open Slope
Home of the Big Air contest and Rail Jam, located just up from the Mid-Burke Lodge, open slope offers a variety of hits, rails and boxes. An awesome view of the Willoughby Gap!
Dashney Mile Terrain Park
Located on the lower mountain, the Dashney Mile Terrain Park is an intermediate level terrain park with a variety of hits, jumps, rails, and fun zones.
Carter Country
Carter Country, located on the J-Bar hill includes smaller, beginner features.
XC SKIING on Kingdom Trails
The Kingdom Trails Association offers 50km of groomed trails between the Darling Ridge and Pinkham Road areas in East Burke. The former Burke XC Center trails will be groomed but the Nordic Building will not be operated. Tickets and rentals can be picked up at the Kingdom Trails office in the village of East Burke. Kingdom Trails will run a satellite office on weekends at the Children’s Theatre on Darling Hill Road. $10 for day passes and very affordable season passes; $50 for an Individual Pass and $100 for a Family Pass. Snowshoe Passes are 50% off.
