Snowsports Learning Center

2009/2010 Children’s Lessons 

All children enrolled in our programs benefit from our 1000 sq/ft Children’s Center facility, allowing for fun and learning both on and off the snow. All of our children’s programs are available in half and full-day sessions on weekends and during holiday periods. Lunch is provided for our full-day programs. All programs are based on instructor availability and based on minimum participation. Advanced registration is recommended. When renting ski or snowboard equipment, we recommend guests arrive one hour before their lesson time.  Mini Bears (skiing for ages 3-5)

This program is an introductory “learn to” program for the wee ones! Playing in small groups with three children per instructor, your child will enjoy on-snow games and activities focusing on the fundamentals of skiing and safety. Morning and afternoon half-day sessions and full day sessions available. 

• Learn To Ski - $69 per session includes equipment rentals, lower mountain  lift ticket and 2.5 hour lesson
• J-Bar Class – $59 per session, 2.5 hour lesson and full day lift ticket.  Rentals available for $10.
• Sherburne Class – $59 per session, 2.5 hour lesson and full day lift ticket.  Rentals available for $10. 
• Full day sessions available for children 4-5 yrs.  – $95 –  includes lessons, lunch & full day lift ticket.  Rental equipment $15

Bear Chasers-skiing for ages 4-12 &
Bear Riders-snowboarding for ages 4-12

In this extraordinarily successful program, your child’s skills and confidence in their ability will rapidly improve. Placed in a group with other children of like ability and age, your child will be led by one of our trained/certified Children’s Center instructors. Watch out Mom & Dad! Keeping up with your kids on the slopes will not be easy after just a few sessions!

• $59 half-day AM or PM. Rental equipment available $10
• $95 full-day sessions.  Rental equipment $15

Be A Skier (skiing for ages 4-12)

This program is designed to turn the first time skier into a life-long participant in our sport. While familiarizing your child with equipment and safety, our certified instructors create a sage and fun environment in which to learn. Includes lift access, equipment rental and 2.5 hours of instruction.

• $69 half-day sessions – 9:30am-noon or 1pm-3:30pm

Burton Learn to Ride (ages 4-12)

An unmatched introduction into the world of snowboarding, this program is dedicated to providing an unforgettable snowboarding experience. Our instructors create an atmosphere that will get your child stoked about riding. Includes lift access, equipment rental and 2.5 hours of instruction.

• $69 half-day sessions – 9:30am-noon or 1pm-3:30pm

Freestyle & Terrain Park Lessons (ages 8 & up)

Sessions are conducted in the terrain parks, depending on ability level and focus on fun, safety and technique. 

• $59 -
  1.5 hour lesson for 1-2 people
  2 hour lesson for 3 0r more
  *Helmets are strongly recommended

Private Ski & Snowboard Lessons

Personalize your skiing and riding experience with a one-on-one  lesson or with your own group of friends and family.  Private lessons are the fastest way to improve your skiing/riding skills. 

• $69 – per hour
• $49 each additional  hour
• $ 49 each additional person

Cancellations made 48 hours in advance of your lesson date, your deposit will be fully refunded. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your lesson date, you will forfeit your deposit.
