Children’s Center

This year, our Snowsports Learning Center introduces its Children’s Center. Here, children ages 3 years and older enrolled in one of our programs will use the area to meet, warm up, learn important safety tips, and review key points they learned on the mountain. The Children’s Center is located in the Sherburne Base Lodge in the space previously occupied by our Daycare Center.

Burke Mountain does not offer daycare services this season. Stringent state childcare regulations coupled with low volumes of business simply became too high a hurdle for us to effectively provide this service at our facility. Betsy Bailey, of Little Dipper Doodle, is a licensed day care provider that is located on the border of St. Johnsbury and Lyndonville in the industrial park complex off route 5. She is open on Saturdays to provide independent daycare services. Special arrangements may be made over the Christmas week as well on 12/26, 12/27, 12/28.
