March 2, 2015

UPDATED 3:20PM - The Mid-Burke Express will be closed for the remainder of the day due to high wind.

Good morning skiers and riders!

Following the fresh couple inches of snow we received last night, we have another mild day in store - full of great turns and great deals! Snow showers are likely, mainly before 9am, with the chance of precipitation dropping from 60%, to around 10% shortly after that. Skies will be Cloudy, with a high near 24 at the base and 11 degrees at the summit. The slopes will be breezy, with a west wind coming in at 8 to 22 mph.

With the exception of the Mountain POMA Lift that will be closed today, all of our lifts are servicing our 36 trails, 14 glades, and 3 terrain parks. 17 trails were groomed last night, and on the rest you can be sure to expect a powder primary surface, with packed powder as secondary.

Onto the deals! This week is National Play Hooky and Ski Week! Get your full day lift Tickets for only $35.00, now through March 6th. Next are our Quebec Break Week Deals: Buy One get one lift tickets, or present your Canadian Ski Resort Season Pass to purchase $25.00 Full Day Lift Tickets. This Deal also runs through March 6th.

Enjoy the day, and we will see you on the slopes!

A notice to all guests that will be arriving at Q Burke Mountain Resort this winter:
Due to the construction of the hotel at the Mid Burke Area, parking areas have been reduced for the season. Please reference the imagery for acceptable places to park at both the Mid Burke Lodge and the Sherburne Base Lodge.

The blue zones on the map highlight acceptable places to park. Red zones are pickup/dropoff zones, and will also be tow-away zones for vehicles left unattended for more than 15 minutes.

While we don’t want to tow away the vehicle of any of our guests, we do need to keep those areas clear for emergency vehicles and guest flow.

Once the Mid Burke parking lots are full, all guests will be required to park at the Sherburne Base Lodge. There will be a complimentary shuttle to and from both lodges operating during weekend and holiday periods from 8:30am-4:30pm that will bring guests to the Pickup/Dropoff locations indicated on both maps.

If you have any questions, please contact our Guest Relations team at (802) 626-7300
