Children in this program must be at least 9 years old by January 1, 2027. **This program is for skiers who are comfortable on Black Diamond terrain, have high endurance, and like to ski in all conditions and terrain. Participants must be proficient in skiing with a dynamic parallel technique, and should also be able to ride all ski lifts without any adult assistance.** *Acceptance to the Freeski Development Team requires prior approval by the Snowsports Manager.* Athletes on the Burke Freeski Development Team will work on a variety of skills, including but not limited to; navigating bumps, jumps, high-pitch slopes, woods skiing, and variable snow conditions.
