Downhill Season Pass Holders with armband
Current downhill season pass holders who have a previous-year uphill armband only need to sign the current season’s waiver and receive a new complimentary uphill sticker. No additional fee applies.
Downhill Season Pass Holders – without armband
Current downhill season pass holders who need or prefer a new uphill armband will be charged a fee to cover the cost of the new armband.
Burke Mountain Uphill-Only Pass
An uphill-only season pass is available for $50 and includes a new uphill armband.
Day Uphill Access
Guests visiting for the day may purchase uphill access for $15. Day-access guests will receive a clearly visible ticket or armband to identify those who have paid for uphill access, signed the required waiver, and reviewed the designated uphill routes.

Routes are subject to change without notice. Always check the daily snow report for the latest updates surrounding uphill travel. If you see grooming (or snowmaking) operations in progress, you must avoid the route. Know (and understand) the difference between operational and non-operational routes.

From Sherburne Base Lodge to Summit:
High Meadows Pass to bottom of Big Dipper (keeping left) Follow yellow up-hill discs. Keep left tight to woods on Big Dipper. Continue up lookers left on Big Dipper. Enter left onto Deer Run. Continue on Deer Run to summit. Use caution when crossing Big Dipper. Stay single file, yield to downhill traffic. Descend any open trail.
From Mid Burke parking area to Summit:
When leaving Mid Burke parking lot, enter onto slope and go left (lookers left of the Mid Burke Lodge). Follow yellow up-hill discs. Keep left, tight to woods on Big Dipper. Continue up lookers left on Big Dipper. Enter left onto Deer Run. Continue on Deer Run to summit. Use caution when crossing Big Dipper. Stay single file, yield to downhill traffic. Descend any open trail.(NOTE: you must descend using skis or snowboard).
YOU MAY NOT WALK BACK DOWN IN SNOWSHOES DURING OPERATING HOURS.

- Follow Midway past Mid Burke Lodge and ascend Lower Willoughby to Upper Willoughby.
To summit
– Follow yellow up-hill discs. Keep left tight to woods on Big Dipper. Continue up lookers left on Big Dipper. Enter left onto Deer Run. Continue on Deer Run to summit. Use caution when crossing Big Dipper. Stay single file, yield to downhill traffic.

You assume responsibility for accessing our ski trails outside of operating hours. In the event you require emergency response, you will be responsible for all costs incurred as a result.
No dogs allowed during operational hours.
You are responsible for understanding the difference between operational and non-operational hours.
Anyone traveling uphill is required to wear snowshoes or touring skis/split boards with metal edges and brakes or restraint straps. During operational hours you must descend on skis or snowboard, you cannot descend on snowshoes.
Please use wilderness etiquette: remove all waste and leave only tracks.
Skin/snowshoe in a single file line on the side of designated trail.
Always stay on the designated uphill travel routes (marked by yellow discs).
Uphill travelers must only descend open terrain (as designated by patrol).
Always stay single file and wear highly visible clothing. Be aware of sharp turns and knolls where you may not be in view of downhill traffic. Downhill skiers have the right of way.
Mountain operations take place AT ALL TIMES. This includes grooming, snowmaking, transportation of materials and personnel, and other activities. Routes may close at any time. Groomers may cross Deer Run, while grooming Upper and Big Dipper, and should be avoided. You may encounter snowmobiles and groomers on your Route be aware, and yield.
WINCH CAT GROOMERS- What are they?
Winch cats are groomers that operate by moving up and down a trail with a fixed cable attached to an upper point. During winch cable operations the cable will go from laying on the ground to being above ground in seconds and may not be visible. Ski Patrol Services are available until 4pm daily. For accidents or incidents that occur between 9:00am and 4:00pm, please call (802) 626-7377 to report your position and emergency. For all accidents that occur outside of operating times call 911.
No motorized vehicles are permitted on the ski resort, violators will be prosecuted.
