Learning to ski should be pure joy. Not nerve-wracking. Not intimidating.

At Burke Mountain, beginners own the bottom half of the mountain. Advanced skiers claim the upper mountain, steep pitches, moguls, and glades.

Two mountains in one. No crossing paths. No intimidation. Pure learning below. Pure challenge above.

We wish we could take credit for such brilliant design. But we can't. Nature made the mountain that way. We just listened.

LESSON RESTRICTIONS & FAQS

Restrictions

  • Prior to 72 hours of the scheduled lesson, it may be refunded or rescheduled for the current winter season. Within 72 hours of the scheduled lesson, it may be rescheduled one time. Lessons are transferable based on availability.
  • If you're interested in reserving a lesson and the online booking window has closed (48 hours prior), please call the Snowsports Department at (802) 626-7348 to inquire about availability.
  • Online reservations recommended in advance.
  • No shows – no refunds.
  • Weather – no cancellations, refunds, or transfers due to weather.

    FAQs

    • Do I need a helmet? Yes. Helmets are required.
    • Where do I check in? The Snowsports Learning Center in the Sherburne Base Lodge located on the 2nd floor, 1st door on the right once inside the building.
    • When and where do I get my rentals? After checking in with Snowsports, proceed to the rental shop igloo to pick up rental equipment.
    • How much time should I allow myself prior to the lesson? Allow at least 45 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time to check in with Snowsports and pick up rental equipment.

    REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS

    • Lesson reservations are non-transferable. You may cancel your pre-purchased lessons up to 48 hours prior to your arrival date of your lesson for a 100% refund.  Simply call us at (802) 626-7348 to cancel.
    • Within 48 hours of the start of Snowsports lessons will not be refund or rescheduled.
