Director of Sales and Marketing

As a senior manager of Q Burke Mountain Resort, the Director of Sales and Marketing will manage all marketing, sales and event functions for Q Burke Mountain including sales, advertising, public relations, website. merchandising, promotions, strategic support of resort partnerships and event operations.  A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field from a 4 year college or university is required with a minimum of five (5) years' experience ideally gained through increasingly responsible management positions within marketing and sales.  Experience within the ski resort industry is preferred.  This position requires strong organizational, analytical and reasoning skills along with the ability to perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.  The ideal candidate must possess the ability to get along well with diverse personalities - remaining tactful, mature, and flexible.  Qualified candidates may submit a cover letter and resume to our Human Resources department at kwhite@skiburke.com.

Senior IT Tech Support Specialist:

Looking for an IT Support Specialist to install, modify and make minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical assistance and training for system users. General networking knowledge and general troubleshooting skills for software and hardware systems required. Two year certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have valid driver's license and be willing/able to work a flexible schedule that requires some weekend and holiday hours. Guest Services Manager:

Seeking a dynamic, professional, service oriented Guest Services Manager to lead our team and grow with us as we expand.  The Guest Services Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of employees in the Guest Services and Lodging departments, handling ticket and pass requests, addressing customer complaints, and for delivering an excellent guest experience. 

Requirements:

Food & Beverage Manager

Dishwasher

We have an immediate opening  for a highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods.  This position also helps ensure that the kitchen areas are maintained as clean, safe, and sanitary facilities.   The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to take and follow directions efficiently while being able to lift and carry heavy objects.  Evening and weekend work required.  Interested candidates may submit an application to our HR Director at kwhite@skiburke.com.

Janitorial/Maintenance Staff:

We are seeking dependable part-time janitorial/maintenance staff members for immediate employment to help keep the main Resort buildings in clean and orderly condition on both the inside and outside of buildings.  Must be willing to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in our public areas, working both independently and as part of a team.  Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  This is a Winter Resort Area - Work venues are varied and include steep stairways, multi-level buildings and outdoor work areas.  If interested, please submit an application to our HR Director at kwhite@skiburke.com or contact our Human Resources department by calling 802.626.7316.

Snow Sports Desk Staff (14/15 Season):

Terrain Park Attendant (14/15 Season):

Seeking experienced Terrain Park Attendants for the 2014/15 season. A Terrain Park Attendant is a labor intensive position responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of all terrain park features with a keen awarness to safety, terrain park etiquette and guest relations.  Successful candidates must have a basic knowledge of how to ride small terrain park features and an understanding of how a terrain park should flow from feature to feature.  Interested candidates  should submit a Q Burke application packet (see above) to our HR Director at kwhite@skiburke.com or bring it to Human Resources at the Sherburne Base Lodge.

Snowmakers (14/15 Season):

Rental Shop Assistant Supervisor (14/15 Season):
