Today's Mountain Report
Updated Tue Sep 22nd 13:05
The Burke Bike Park is closed midweek (Monday through Friday) and will resume lift-serve mountain biking again this Saturday & Sunday from 10am-6pm.
Only three weekends remain until the bike park season comes to a close so make your plans and come on up to get your gravity fix.
Although the lift is closed, trails are free to pedal, all we ask is that you sign our digital waiver found on the mountain biking tab prior to ANY and ALL riding in the park. Also keep an eye out for trail crew working and NEVER-EVER walk or ride up the downhill trails.
If you're looking to access park trails from the base, use our uphill route Shire. Otherwise, best way to access is by parking at Mid Burke and riding up the access road (only when park is closed).
NOTE: Riders are expected to be wearing masks while visiting both indoors and outdoors and while riding in the Burke Bike Park. Please have your mask handy and on when picking up your ticket or rental and while standing in line.
VMBA member? We've allowed enough of a buffer for passholders and VMBA members with our advance ticket sales so you do NOT need to register in advance. Simply bring your coupon with you so you can redeem for a day ticket and please sign the waiver ahead of time at skiburke.com/waiver.
Happy riding - we'll see you soon.
Few things to note:
1) Base Lodge Facilities will NOT be open. All facilities including restrooms, food/drink will be out of Hotel. You can access the Hotel via Roly Grail from the lift (bike in / bike out). Please bring plenty of water! All public / shared water has been turned off for your safety.
2) EVERYONE MUST SIGN A WAIVER TO RIDE THE PARK (including pass holders & tickets purchasers). Visit skiburke.com/waiver
3) Tickets must be purchased in advanced. Visit our Day Tickets page under Mountain Biking to pre-purchase. Ticket counter will be located outside on the Sherburne Base Lodge patio. Check in with them to pick up your day ticket for the day. VMBA member? You do not need to pre-register, just bring your coupon and sign the waiver.
4) Looking to pick up your bike park season pass? You can pick up your pass in person during bike park operating hours at the ticket counter - which will be outside on the base lodge patio. If you are OK using last years photo - email email@example.com and we'll have it pre-printed for you. If you would like a new photo - email your headshot ahead of time so it can be preprinted OR we'll take your picture when you arrive.
No lessons are currently available.
Summit shuttle will not be offered this season as part of our bike park operations. If you are looking to access summit trails, self-shuttling is allowed: $5/car or $15 with your all day pass. FREE with your bike park season pass.
